Wonderful soft edges; good drawing, proportions and values. Rich dark baseboard draws your eye through the painting. Suggestion of light coming in from the left and wonderful blues in the foreground.
Fabric is nicely done with the varied pattern and suggestion of folds. Pink reflection about flowers is a nice touch. Good greens—not overly saturated. Flowers well done with a nice variation in color and value. I liked the suggestion of a light source on flowers.
I like how the artist reserved the whites. Good drawing especially on larger building. Darks grouped together pulling your eye across painting. Hill in background recedes nicely. Small details are nicely done and add interest to the painting.
